What kind of tranny fluid does everybody use for an A4? Should I just use the GM fluid?

 

I just use Coastal fluid. I also change my fluid every year though.

 

I usually use Mobil One's synthetic ATF. But remember, you are only changing the 2 quarts or so that are in the pan, there is still about 16 quarts in the entire system (TC, cooler, etc). The really change the fluid completely, you will need to have the entire system flushed and refilled.
