trailer width...

I'm headed to Illinois (650 miles each way) this weekend to pick up a 94 Z28. I'll be trailering it back and need to know how big of a trailer (width wise) that I need. I've got a few friends with trailers and am gonig to try to use one of those if they are wide enough. I can always get one from U-Haul if I have to but of course I wanna save some that $150. So, if anybody can tell me the width of their car or the width of a trailer they've halled their car on before, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

The widest trailer any of my friends have so far is 6.5FT and fit an older corvette on it fine, from what I read the camaro's are about 74 inches wide, so that leaves 4 inches to spare...in theory anyways...anybody have any experience in this??

If you have 76" between the fenders you should be fine. Mike

Thanks...by doing some comparison with how wide the UHaul trailers are and how wide a 3000GT is (and how it almost didnt fit lol) VS this trailers width and the Z28's width...it should be do-able...I'm gonna get a friend with a Z28 to try to get his car on there before i drive 600 miles to get this thing tho. Thanks
