I've got a Hidden Hitch and didn't have to remove anything to install it.

I had a Draw Tite Class II on my Trans Am. I had it installed but they didn't remove the bumper.

Thanks guys, I removed this from a '94 TA and could'nt see how the 3rd bolt was inserted as it's inside a framed section and too far to reach. I got it out with a stick magnet.
Now I'm istalling it in my '94 I'm faced with this problem ...checked the F body manual and the Draw Tite site and no luck. If all else fails I'll cut a small square out of the channel frame with the dremel and "fiddle" the parts in.
GREAT Site Brent ....very useful ...great tips and time savers.

Why a trailer hitch ?
I've been attending more driving schools/lapping days ..the most recently at Mid-Ohio and need to carry track tires/wheels etc. Later in the year I'll get a car trailer ...but first a tow vehicle ...until then I've got a 4 X 4 trailer as a quick fix.
EVERYONE should try to attend a drivers school ...more fun than anything ...there is nothing like running around Mid Ohio ....watch it on TV all you like ...but run it ...
Thanks.

How much are you guys towing? I dont think I've seen very many beefy trailer setups for the 4th gen, I think myself I'd be towing around 2500-2700 pounds if I were to do this.

I saw a 4th Gen Camaro towing like a 20' boat! My buddy who I sold my Trans Am to tows an 18' boat. Pulls it with no problem but he sometimes has trouble getting up the ramp

I used to tow dirt bikes, my Ninja, jet ski, etc. Also, before I got my truck, my utility trailer converted the Trans Am into a pretty good "truck"

I sometimes pull my Sea-Doo, but mainly use the hitch for one of those bike racks that fit into the receiver.

What would the tow limit be on an Fbody? Does the back end squat very bad?
