Traction Control Removal

I know there have been lots of posts on this, but I never did find an answer to my question, so here goes...

My biggest concern is getting rid of that big ugly black box over the valve cover. I already know that when I do I have to replace the throttle and cruise cables. I am also pretty sure that being OBD2, it will throw a code when it sees the box missing. I already know all the differences between an f-body with and without ASR (3-channel/4-channel, one vs two brake lines to the rear, one vs two sensors in the rear end, etc.).

My questions are: Say I get rid of the black box, namely the solenoid for the throttle cable. Will I get a check engine light? Will my ABS still work, considering I am not eliminating the motor near the ABS unit? Can I get ASR edited out via PCMforless and still keep my ABS?

My main concern is that by taking out that stupid box I might just screw up my car worse, and I don't want to deal with more headache . Anyone ever done this before on OBD2? Thanks to anyone that can help!
