traction control cover

Quick question hopfully someone can answer quickly, the traction control module on the valve cover has a plastic warning box over it is that there for any specific reason or can i take that off and not worry about anything getting fried or what not, same thing with the plastic over the throttle body cable they needed at all?

I don't have TCS, but I have been running my car with no throttle body cover for years with no problems.

They are there to keep any debris from possibly getting kicked up and caught in the mechanisms and jamming them up. If you are ok with not having that protection, then you can remove them.
