I've seen a lot of people make good dyno numbers with the XE cams but what kind of times are you turning. 1/8th and 1/4 if you have them. Just post what cam and what has been done to the heads. My best time is in the sig with the CC305 cam in 90* weather. I should be able to get 8.0s or 8.1s when it cools down a little.

When I was making 351rwhp with homeported heads and SLP shorties I got 1 run in on bfg's and it went something like this:
rode the clutch out and got moving and buried it. Spun 1st instantly and just quick shifted to 2nd by the 60' mark (2.3# sec 60'). I spun all of 2nd gear and was feathering the pedal the whole way. Gave up at 60-65mph and slammed 3rd gear. Tires barked and I finally stopped sloshing around and took off. I ended up with the following:
60' - 2.3#
1/8 - 9.3 @ 83.8
1/4 - 13.8 @ 109
Just to give you an idea, I ran the following #'s with just 301rwhp and all bolt-ons:
60' - 2.14
1/8 - 8.69 @ 83.5
1/4 13.3 @ 105.8
I was bumming cuz there were 500 cars there and we all made 1 run before it rained. Would have been interesting if I hooked and actually used the first 2 gears, and if it was 100% humidity. I should have it an easy 112mph (XE230/236, homeported heads, shorties). Oh well.

i hate that when you get the opportunity to make one pass and you don't get everything right. the only time i got to run the 1/4 was at the SLP day last spring and I made one pass 13.01@106. i hooked good but where i screwed up was that i was a little nervous and didn't quite realize how long to stay in the throttle. i let out of the throttle about 30ft. before the blocks at the finish line. i thought that the line was right when you passed the time clock. lol, sux to be me. i've since dropped 200lbs off of the car and corrected a few tuning issues. car should go about 12.70 now if i'm lucky.
Once again there's going to be a flame war about the best "small" cam I can see. It's really all about putting together what's right.....as for me...hot cam, ported heads, and a matched intake w/ the right combo of parts netted me high 11's/low 12's for all of 2 weeks...Then the lifters started to give up the ghost. Now, we're gonna find out what happens when you add 33 cubes, bigger valves, longtubes, and a lil of the funny stuff
I used to be a definite proponent of the Hot Cam Kit......... Until I had it installed and it made my car SLOWER
I have gone throough programming after programming, checked my entire fuel system, checked timing, had everything scanned, ETC.
i noticed some bad vacuum pressure and replaced the Lifters. It seems quicker, but NOT where it SHOULD be....
I ran the times in sig WITHOUT the 3200 Stall, and when i was at 3.73 gears before I had to drop down to 3.42s
