tps problem

I was doing a tb bypass and I broke a "tooth" off of the tps and now my car shifts way to late with the shift kit. Plus it won't downshift under wot on the freeway. Does this sound like the problem because I also did a theomstat change and a APC air filter change today.

Oops, sounds like you need a new one. It happens to the best of us. When I did my tb bypass I didn't notice a leak until it was allover the cylinder head steaming away. Luckily I didn't break anything major. Replacing it should make the problem go away.

Thanks for reminding me, mine is probably worn out too, it's pretty slow to downshift and seems like it responds more at certain times more than others.

There's too many sensors on these cars. They like to break a lot.
