Question Torque Convetor 4L60E

Anyone ever use a B&M or TCI convertor in their z28's. I hear alot about Vigilante, but there big $$$....B&M and TCI are under $400.00 each. If anyone has heard or ran these convertors please post a reply about what you think of them. I want to get a stall but only want to do the job once and be happy. Also what stall do you guys recommend for a stock 94 LT1 with 2.73 gears.
Also I was told the 94 LT1 has more torque than the other years, is this true or is someone lying to me. Any help is appreciated..
Thank you for any info......

Most converters are the same as they all use basically the same tecnology. The BM and TCI are good convrters for the money, but your torque converter has a huge responsibility. If it was me and I only wanted to spend as little as possible id get a Street Edge 2800 or 3000 stall with lockup for your application. If you are intersted in (http://edgeracingconverters.com) (andre@edgeracingconverters.com) or Call 1888350EDGE and ask for Andre, tell him Jess Hardessen sent you.

Another must when istalling a conveter is a tranny cooler. The smaller converters and higher stall cause excess heat.

Any questions,
