BMR here. Satified with it. It'll probably take care 95% of us who doesn't run into the 11s or better.

Spohn and BMR are both very well made parts.

I went with the BMR Xtreme Duty because i like how it connects to the frame connectors instead of the floor.

I have a Spohn race version with a built in driveshaft loop very nice unit. My only regret is I ordered it with solid steel bushings instead of polyeurathane so it transferes alot of my gear whine inside the car.

EDIT: On threads like this, people are going to recommend whatever they have as being the best. So what it comes down to is do more people have the Spohn or BMR torque arm.

I was thinking that when the time came and upgrading to the Complete BMR EXTREME Duty line w/ torque Arm included. It may close to over kill for the street but... what the hell a little extra rigity never hurt anybody right....!

Later,

I have the Spohn TA w/ polyeurathane bushings. Excellent!!! Great compliment to the rest of my suspension mods. I like the fact that the torque is off the tranny. Expect the ride to be stiiff, like the tires are square. Noise not a biggie w/ my unit. Just make sure the TA is an adjustable one (allows you to adjust the pinion angle which preloads the rear suspension)if you plan to do any racing. Hope this helps!
