torque arm; panhard bar???

heres a question...EVERY time I put it in reverse and go back my rear end in my car hops like a rabbit!!! It literally shakes the entire car!! I can feel it more pronounced on the passenger side. I looked under the car and my panhard bar (i think) is rusted to all he((!! I'm super curious, does this happen to anyone else? it's a 6-speed.

Just a guess, maybe your LCA bushings are bad? Is everything tight in your suspension?

The rust isn't gonna cause the problem. Check your bushings in your lower control arms and panhard rod. Try replacing them, or maybe it's time for an upgrade to some aftermarket stuff.

I'm not sure, I know when I'm getting on her the rear end drops and when I put in the clutch my passengers jerk forward til I shift again then we are thrown back in the seats. I have noticed a lot of bottom rust though; what should I be checking since I'm used to leaf springs and just shocks??

Check your bushings. Rust isn't anything that a wire wheel/brush and some engine paint or POR15 can't cure.
