I'm can say that my car has reached just over 230 km/hr (145ish mph)....

...If you can redline your car in top gear..than the only way to go faster in that particular gear, is to raise the redline, or change the gears.

What is his redline?? Horsepower, doesent always make a car faster top-speed wise. You could have a bone stock Z28..6 speed..take it to redline in 5th gear. Now take a 500HP Z28, with the same exact redline, and same gears..and it will go exactly as fast as it did before redlined in 5th..it will get there a helluva lot quicker though

I tested (well not really tested, just ran it up to that point) my car and a Evo 8 and we both hit about 155. I let off the gas but the four banger kept going. I just wanted to see when he'd run out of juice but it seemed like he never did.

Here's a video of me doing ~130-140 MPH in my '88 LX 5.0 w/ an Automatic. I was in 3rd gear.
According to a calculator I was doing 130-140. Speedo was LONG pegged at 85mph.

In my 95z m6, i hit 148ish.. backed off because it felt like the car was starting to float.. very weird/scary feeling.. almost felt like i started to drift.. 
Fastest i have ever traveled while on the ground was on my 2001 gsxr 750... had it up to 177mph

My car goes faster that 150 thats all I know A4 with 3.23's. Actually now I got headers and CAI it is still acceling pretty good. Only done it a couple times though I know i'm retarded
