Don't use your brakes to slow down from 150! At those speeds they can get extremly hot real fast and become useless. Rather use the gears as much as you can and then apply your brakes, this is a lot more effective. Also I wouldn't worry too much about being picked up by the wind unless your attempting these speeds directly into the wind and hits wayy above 150.

That is not true. It's set at 255 mph on those cars.

On my stock 3.42's I hit a tach certified 175-181 in 5th gear. The car was still pulling hard when I let off.

my old camaro was a 95 same as in sig but with 150000 miles and i went 135 coming home from the shore and blow my tranny never went that fast again till i got this car and the u joints were bad just got that fixed so maybe i can get back up there and be smooth againn

Im confused about how you guys saying you went 160 something or 170something know you were going that. Since our speedos only go to 150, unless you all had scanners hooked up at the time, then I understand (or got a ticket)
