Tool to take off z28 Calipers?
Hey guys.

What do I need to take of the calipers on a 93 z28? Looks like its a 9.3 allenwrench or some screwy size like that--and I can't find an allen wrench that will fit it.

So what do I need?

i dont knwo the EXACT SIZE, but it is indeed an allen head screw, you'll need a good size 1/2' ratchet and socket'd allen tool

Most likely a metric allan set. Many late model GM cars have metric bolts and nuts.

if im not mistaken you can use 8mm hex to take off the caliper.

thought it was 3/8? Either way Buy a socket not the allen key.

yah its a 3/8 i had to go through that trouble when i uprgraded the brake system on mine.

It's a 3/8" allen socket that you want. Not metric.
