Too much oil

Too much oil

I have a leak that i came to the conclusion that it is from the sensor so latlely i have been adding oil and was wondering what would or could happen if u added one or two extra quarts of oil would it hurt anything i was gonna drain the oil and put 5 quarts in it but before i do that wanted to know what u think.

if you put more oil in your motor than you are supposed to there is a good chance you will blow it up............very quickly

Yeah, too much oil translates into the crank slapping it up into a froth which the oil pump can't pick up. Also make sure that leak isn't coming from the back of the intake where it meets the block. The RTV in between breaks down creates leaks. LT1's are famous for this.
