Too many miles?

I'm lookin to buy a used LT1 F-body. Does a 1995 with 93k miles sound ok? Will the motor be trustworthy with that many miles on it? Can it be used on long distance trips, highways, etc. Not to mention the occasional race or "spiritied drive"?

Thanks

these motors are almost bulletproof if well maintained. Take a look under the car for oil leaks, (intake oil leak). Drive the car around and see if you notice any hesitation under 2,000 rpm or at high rpms.

Just a few things I would check

by the way, 150,000 miles and running strong... (of course it's up in the air right now, replacing the starter and getting the headers recoated!)

What causes that hesitation you mentioned under 2,000 rpm, i feel like that happens to me somtimes. And i got some small oil drops under my car, but i changed the oil filter and i think it stopped now
