Tons Of Questions..... Wana Help Me Out

-If you have an exhaust leak off the exhaust manifolds, would that set a bad o2 sensor code? so the sensors might be good, its just detecting the leak?

-anyone ever heard of these brake pads? Hawk Ferro Carbon Racing Compound front disc pads for your 93-97.......are they any good? i gotta replace my break pads and i can get these dirt cheap? i dont wana do an ls1 upgrade or anything i just need to do a cheap brake change.

-I have a 96 t/a ...........if i could get a 97 instrument gague panel from a t/1 .....what all would be required to do the swap.......any info/links or pointers wold help.

-what is the part# for MSD Stock Replcement Ignition Coil?

-i know i have more question......i just cant think of them right now.....all help is appreciated

Thanx in Advance

The exhaust manifold leak would allow oxygen into the exhaust stream. This would throw off the O2 sensor readings and you would see a false lean condition. It shouldn't cause failure. You could have both a leak and a bad O2. You could swap sides on the O2's and see if the code follows.

Others will have to chime in for your other questions.

MSD single connector coil for 1996-1997 is #8231. MSD did seem to have a bad run of the pre 96 #8226 coils and a couple of other manufacturers had similar failures. Most or all were easily replaced under warranty. I have not heard anything bad regarding the #8231.
