These are the 10* retainers and if you have stock length valves and have not
modified the spring pockets in the heads and are using .060" spring seats and .050"
super locks, you will end up with about a 1.75" installed height.

 

Due to the tiny size of the beehive retainers titanium offers relatively little potential weight savings. For the cost involved you might want to rethink this.

 

Goddamn i don't remember them being $300. I'll just stick with my new springs and reuse my old chromoly retainers

 

I've weighed and compared a complete set of steel beehive retainers and titanium retainers w/ locks on a lab scale. The weight difference was insignificant. Also, the 10 degree locks weigh as-much-as the titanium retainers.
