which tires to get?

ok my one of my front tires went today. actually i just bought the car and the tires in front are dry rotted. so i am looking into getting two new tires for now. i am going to put the tires i have on the rear now, up front. so here are the tires i am looking into,

goodyear eagle f-1s gs d3 @ 152$
michelin pilot sport @ 172$
bfgoodrich g-force t/a kdw @ 134$
firestone firehawks sz50ep @ 137$

i am looking for a tire good at the track and on the street.not saying that money is not an issue , but dont want to put it where it is not wanted! which should i get? thanks all

I have KDW and they work good rain or dry.. If you don't think you'll be doing any rain driving then pick up a set of KD's or nittos. Otherwise the KDW is a good choice IMO. Becareful not to get the KDWS also - the local place here (in FL!) didn't seem to realize that the KDWS is a Dry, Wet, and SNOW tire (idiots!).

i should add that mine is very much driveable in the rain, but my buddies with the yokohamas just seem to hook up better.

the KDWS isnt really a snow tire, I dont know why they say it is. If you seen the tread on one... I wouldnt want to be driving on it in the snow. But either way go with the KDW

THe KD's are good but the tread life on them is bad. thats why i didnt get them, they look bada$$ though.

i got the bf goodrichs put on today, and to my luck it was raining out today. so i got to test them to see if they were what they advertise. well in the rain i cant say anything bad abou these tires , they are just as good in the rain as my other tires were in dry weather. well i am pleased now, just hopefully my times at the track will improve a bit.
thansk all who told me to get these tires

Another vote for Goodyears. Michelins are nice, but they're a little more expensive and they will wear out quicker.
