OK I have 2003 C5 Wheels
17x8.5 in front
18x9.5 in back

I am told that I should use 315's in back and 245's in front! one does everyone agree on size and two, what is the exact size? 245/45zr17?? and I have no idea what exactly to specify in back

just look on a vette in a parking lot sometime right on the side of the tire it will tell you

 

Thats a very good idea. Should be easy enough!

 

I'd double check, but I'm pretty sure the vette's tires are 245/45/17 for the front, and either 275/40/18 or 295/35/18 for the rear.
