What size of tires will fit into the wheel wells on my 95 using the stock wheels? I looking for more meat

 

The biggest you can go with on the stock wheels is 255/50/16, they don't offer a tire bigger than that.

 

is it worthwhile at all to get 255's instead of 245's? im going 2 be needing new tires in a few months probably.

 

If you do go with 255's they'll be about .5" taller than your stock tires which will cause your speedometer to be about 1 mph off. Not a big deal, but I figured I'd let you know.

 

I've got the 255/50/16 on my car now. I think there is 1'' more tread on the ground compared to the 245. Don't have any rub problems at all in the front and they look damn mean from the back. The tread pattern is wide and really cool lookin!! Well worth the money!!

 

Doesn't this depend on the speed you are going, as the speed offset is typically a percentage?
