My friends tires on his 95 z28 are bald. He's looking for a new good pair of street tires. What tires would you reccomend and how much do they tend to cost per tire?

 

I have Pirelli p7000 275 ZR 17's on my car and I love them. $141.00 each at tire rack.com

Just rear or front too? I will never have a street tire again, after switching to Nitto drag radials. about 160 each form discount tire for 17". I drove a car with stret tires the other day and forgot not to give it too much gas lol.

 

I just picked up some 245/50 -16 Sumitomo HTR+ tires from www.tirerack.com for $81 each. They are M+S rated, and have a nice looking tread pattern. UTQG rated 360 AA A.

 

That is 100% true. Once you have a dragradial on your car you won't ever want to go back to a regular street tire.
