TIRED 160k MILES ENGINE NEEDS REBIRTH HELP..

Hello Members. I have a 1994 camaro z28 m6 with a ****ttload if miles on it, commuting takes its toll. I Want to wake it up. So far I have Changed
plugs and wires
opti about 30k ago
waterpump
FIPK intake
3' cat back exhaust w/cut-out

I like my handling nad suspension set-up I am just more interested in some more power

Also will replacing the actual coil with a msd blaster coil help out, or an msd box as well. I have never changed my coil so I am for sure going to do that...

Questions about maybe bbk pulley's if that might help?

Basically any reccomedations to wake up this motor.. If I have to crack the motor open than thats what I have to do...1.6 roller rockers????

Well thanks again, and I appreciate any input that you can give..

fuel filter!!!! 18 bucks and takes 10 minutes
gears 4:10's
then start saving for a rebuild

If you are just looking to pep it up I would recommend a head and cam swap with the assosciated valve train upgrades. But if you are looking to do something more aggressive a VRE 383 with LE3 heads works well together..It basically comes down to your needs and budget. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Just do a tune up for now, and start saving for a rebuild. Once that comes, an LE2 heads/cam combo is hard to beat for the money on a 355.

Yeah stock fuel pump, and I just ordered a blaster gm Coil because Im getting a slight spark sometimes from my coil. I'm hoping it will wake the spark up a little, I mean better than old stock coil..

Well you could put some longtubes and your choice of exhaust on there now. That will compliment the rebuild well, and pep it up some for now.
