tire rubbing problem!
i just bought new wheels and tires they are 18x10 and 295 on the rear. i have suspension techniques springs and now that the tires are brought almost flush with the fender the inside of the lip of the fender rubs a bit if i go over rolling bumps. normal bumps like little man holes and things are fine just like if you come to the bottom of a steep hill to flat road. anyone else have this problem, if so what did you do to stop it.

sounds like you need to roll the quartes out a little. which is actually just bending the lip that the tires hit on the only bad part is it usally puts waves in the quarter pannels.I have heard of people putting a wooden bat between the tire and the lip of the quarter and roll the car forward slowling while working the bat to put pressure on the lip and it roll's it up. Dont try to move it all at once just roll it up a little then do it agian a few more times If you chose to do that.

I have 17x9.5" enkeis with 275s. They cleared on my lowered car with no rubbing. When i added an adjustable panhard rod to center the axle they rubbed on the passenger side fender. SLP sells "jounce bump spacers". they are 15mm and about 30 bucks if i remember right. They recommend them for any car with 17x9s. My tires also just barely rubbed in the passenger side wheel well, wasn't doing any damage, just had barely brushed the paint. The jounce bump spacers should take care of it for you. I also bent up the inner lip a little bit using an adjustable wrench, this cracked the paint underneath where you can't see it and wasn't quite enough clearance which is why i ordered the jounce bump spacers. i would be really carefull if you roll the fenders cause you could end up needing some expensive body work.
Good luck.
Good luck.
