timing cover seala
timing cover seala
i am in the process of replacing the timing chain, pti, waterpump, underdrive pulley and throttle body bypass. i got it all apart the timing chain on and all the parts but i can not get the crank seal on right. i have tried to make somthing to get it on right out of pvc pipe but it is still trying to start crooked. any suggestions on a way to get this done. i have the wonderfull stumble at idle when warm and below 1600-1700 rpm. i hope with aqll of this i have go the cure but we will see. i have already replaced plugs and wires and that did nothing as far as the miss is concerned. i really need to get this car up and running agian so any help will make my day. should i pulle the cover back oput of the car to install the seals or will it work in the car somehow. i have seen someone mention a tool but no descripton or where to get it and when i asked at autozone they looked at me funny so please help
