Anybody use sealer on theirs?My Haynes book says to use some on both sides of the gaskets.I heard some people say they did'nt use any and have had no leaks.If I can get away with it i'd rather not use it.

Didnt use any type of sealant and no leaks. Same for the water pump.

 

I didnt use any on the timing cover gasket, but I did use some on the oil pan gasket that ties into the timing chain cover.
