Okay wtf?! I put my timing cover back on today and found that i was either 3 bolts short, or had 3 bolts that were mysteriously longer than when i took them out. How many bolts actualy screw into the cover? See pic..

 

Did you mix up the timing cover bolts with the bolts for the opti?

 

Its been a real long time since I've worked on mine but I believe all 3 of the longer bolts are for the opti.
