OK, to all you LT1 Gods out there, what is up with the LT1's timing chain? it isn't like a conventional sb's chain. how can you tell if it is stretched or not? I checked in my GM Tech manual, but no dice. The problem is the old style if you lay it flat a good chain won't touch in the center. This LT1 chain lays flat. Literally flat all the way the whole length of the chain. It only has 20,000 or less miles on it ( that doesn't nessesarily mean anything) but I figure if istretched it THAT badly, I would have more serious problems than I do. Any help is always appreciated.
