Timing Chain Clearencing. Where do they need to be ground down?
I started grinding on mine with a Dremel, and four grinder things later its still not right. I was basically just taking down the large beveled area, I didnt do much grinding on the smaller beveled area directly around where the opti shaft goes in. Is it the larger beveled area or the area right next to the opti shaft?
Also, what did you guys use to grind with, I am using a plug in the wall style Dremel, and I keep eating up the round grinding wheels.
On a side note, I have some Comp Pro Mags that dont fit under the valve cover, so I just ripped out the deals that run side to side and support the shaft that the bolt comes down through, thats not a problem right?

just put some grease on the timing chain then stick the timing cover in place. Then remove it, the grease will be where you need to grind at. Make sure you make the grooves a little wider than the grease marks as timing chains can flex back and forth.
