Timing chain

Is there a certain mileage the timing chain should be changed? I looked around and could not find a thing about when it should be changed.

I've seen stock chains/gears go over 200,000 miles.... If you have any doubts, change it.. Most just change it when when rebuilding or putting in a new cam...

On mileage alone I would not change it. If in there for something like a cam then, as said above, change it.

This is not like a timing belt which is a maintanance concern.
