timing chain

Anyone ever try a standard timing chain with electric water pump setup?
Standard chains don't cost millions and I was thinking of going w/an electric pump anyway. Im open to other ideas too. Thanks

Several people have done this on the Corvette Forum. Go there and do a search in the C4 section and I think the P/N is even listed for the Cloyes set that will work best.
