ok i had to replace the o-rings on my 95 camaro z-28 and when i put the the dristuribtor back in it would not start i have put the car at TDC and then put the dristurbitor back in and still nothing can anybody help
Are you sure you have the dowel pin in the correct hole in the back of the Opti? Are you sure the pin is engaging the Opti?

I seem to remember the LT1/LT4 book saying to have cylinder #1 @ TDC on the compression stroke, which will place both the cam sprocket mark and cranksprocket mark at the 12 o'clock position. The cam dowel pin should also be in the 9 o'clock position. Then you can slide the distributor in with the cam dowel going into the correct slot on the back of the distributor.
