Time to rebuild

Hey all, long time surfer 1st time posting. It's time to pull the LT1 from my 97 Z28, I blew a head gasket so might as well freshen it up while I have it apart. A new clutch would also be a good thing. I'm keeping the car emissions legal and have a few questions:

Using a CC305 cam is it worth porting the heads and/or intake, and would doing so lower my chances of passing emissions?

Will I need any fuel delivery mods or will the factory setup work?

Will a proper pcm re-tune allow me to pass emissions or should I keep my stock pcm for the yearly sniffer test?

Any other helpful info or tips on rebuilding these LT1's would be great...
