Time bomb?

2 bolt mains a time bomb on a 430rwph motor? Building a stroker 383 Should it hold the power with a two bolt? Not planing on spraying or a blower just a basic n\a stroker with the LE3 package top end and down the road a custom intake manifold. Thanks Cameron

Depends on how high you plan to rev it. I've heard that moving at 6500+ is "pushing it." I talked with AP Engineering over this issue during my motor build, as I'm planning in the upper 6K region with my setup, and they said I should be fine. From what I can tell, generally speaking for most guys a splayed 4 bolt main is nothing but costly overkill.

Thanks, I plan on reving the motor only too 6500 max and I don't think it will see that high of rpm very often. This is my first stroker and just don't want it to blow up with one pass. Cameron
