Tightening rockers

I know you set the rockers at 1/4 turn past zero lash when that cylinder is at TDC.

But can you also tighten them by running the car and tightening them until they stop chattering and then do an 1/8 turn more? Is this an accurate way of doing them?

Yup, it works both ways, provided you are not running comp R's as they would not function well with 1/4 turn past 0.

There have been a few threads about this recently, and there are a few good methods, they all work and it just comes to personal preference.

Why don't comp R's work with 1/4 turn past zero?
