Here's the deal-just got my oil changed, mobil 1 syn as always, and shortly after I noticed a ticking sound coming from what I think is the oil pan area of the car. It only happens when I'm giving it gas, not at idle or when I let off the gas. Anybody ever hear of this before? My motor has never leaked a drop of oil ever, and this is frustrating! Oil pump maybe? Oh, at idle, oil pressure drops down to about 1/4, but at accel or revving, it goes right back up to the half line... Any help will be appreciated fellows. Thanks.

 

my 94Z does the same thing! well actually it dosent tick but the oil pressure at idle after the car is warmed up is around 15-20, then goes up to around the 40 mark when you rev it up or are going, i thought i heard somewhere that the low oil pressure on lt1's was a common problem or somethin? i have no clue, those guages arent always accurate either, but any ideas of the cuase anyone???
