I'm about to spend about a grand today.I was wondering if TR is the way to go.Who should I talk to,do they hagle prices,is shipping expensive and does it take a while for them to ship a torque converter or anything else.

Thunder Racing is top notch man. I rank them up there with Summit and Jegs. Superb Customer Service.

Thunder racing is a top notch place.. it's a "real" shop.. not a little craphole online presence that may disappear with your money..

I don't hesitate for a second when spending money with them.

I have only placed one order with them so far but it was shipped right away and arrived in almost no time.

I am very happy with my experience with them. So happy that I will be going back.

Not to knock thunder racing, I had good experiences with them. But the best place for my car has been Combination Motorsports. Seth has helped me so much in my 383 build, and he knows his stuff. The parts I have got from them are top notch, and lowest possible price. give them a try before you buy. I'd get prices from both places.

Javier, How long did it take them to ship your TC,if you did in fact buy it from them.Do they bargain prices or match them.Is there an LT1 tech I can talk to.Thanks for the response.

I buy based on price always, unless a company has a bad rep - every order from Thunder has always been shipped quickly and I've never had a problem with damaged goods or the incorrect item being sent.

Yep, bought it from them. PI Vigilante converters are custom made and drop shipped from the manufacturer. I place my order on like a Monday and had my converter by Wednesday or Thursday I think.. amazing service.. the rest of my order from Thunder got there a day after the converter.

They don't really bargain prices.. they have their fixed prices they use.. I'm not sure that they price match, their prices are pretty good as it stands.

Thunderracing has superb customer service. The only problem I had with them is my Mufflex Y-pipe, it took 2 mos to get to me. But the fact that they communicated with me letting me know why the delays eased my frustration.

I've ordered a few things from those guys and love them. Great service. Friendly on the phone, and VERY informative and helpful. They don't just read the back panel of the product and can actually relate to you if and why this is right for your car. I know I spent like 30 minutes discussing my friend's car and deciding on a cam with them. He got the stuff like 3 days later and the valve train upgrade shaved .35 off his 1/8th ET.
This is a company worth dealing with!

Another Good Overall Rating from me for Thunder Racing.

They have great prices and fast shipping on all there products.

The only complaint (which is very minimal) is that they don't seem to return e-mails very well.

That can be remedied by calling them on the phone though. They always answer the phone!

Overall, they do a fantastic job of supporting us f-body enthusiats!
