I replaced mine with a stocker and broke it shortly thereafter, so I went with the 1LE mount from GM. It has worked great for over two years now

But others suggest a good poly mount. Do a search on this subjest and I'm sure you'll find more than you need since these cars break the stock pieces very quickly

I would for sure say tranny mount. If you do a search you will find mixed feelings about the poly mount over the stock one. Some say it relay's more vibrations into the car, other feel it is fine. I replaced mine with a stock one. A buddy at a local shop did it and a trans service, fluid, filter, and all, for about $60 total.

No offense BUT I would never go back to a stock mount. I broke two in about a week, and I have yet to break the 1LE. I would at least get the 1LE, when replacing the mount. This is just my opinion.

heres my story ive broke (2) stock mounts, (1) 1le mount, and im working on this poly one. i had a little more trouble breaking the 1le (hence it is a little stronger than the stock one, but if you do any real "hot-doggin" then youll break it too in time!), i dont keep breaking these things on purpose its just that i do things like donuts, holeshots coming off corners, racing every car i see, etc. if you drive anything like me youll do best with an Energy Suspension (brand) polyurethane trans mount!

the myth about how poly mounts create unbearable vibration is nothing more than a myth! it does vibrate however but not to the point where youll hate to get on the freeway, personally i like the vibration and it makes my exhaust rumble a little more. also the tone of the whole drivetrain is increased which is another thing i like so if and when i break somethin (ie. inside the trans) i will be able to hear it!...this post got a little long but i hope it helps you out!

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!...you just broke your 1st mount!
