Throwing codes and not running well.

Ever since I've installed my LT's on my 97 Z-28, the car has not been running as well as it used to. I got the car scanned and I'm getting P0100 and P0103. When I'm in the gas giving it even (but not heavy) throttle pressure, the car will run well and then it will feel like it's choking a bit, run well, choke, all the way through the RPM range. Now if I lay into it, sometimes it runs without issue, other times it's the same thing. It will sometimes lag and then all of a sudden it will pick up and go.

I checked the voltage at the MAF sensor and I'm getting 11.4 volts. I cleaned it with MAF sensor cleaner a couple weeks ago (I've gotten P0100 before) and it still doesn't run well. What kind of input do you guys have? Thanks everybody!

Engine mods: Hooker non-emissions LT's, ORY, BBK 58mm TB, Moroso intake, OTVC wires, computer tuning by Kyle@CSS.

Does it run well before it goes into closed loop?

My first thought is if you live close to CSS where you got it tuned, take it back there and work with them to sort through your issues. I'm sure your tuner can help you sort the problem out and get you running at peak performance.

Given that both codes are related to the MAF, I'd try a known good replacement MAF and see if it solves your problem...

Good idea. I know a guy with a 97 like mine that I'll try to borrow it off of. Thanks.

Update time: I swapped the MAF sensor with one from my friend's Z-28 and it ran perfectly. So that means I need a new MAF sensor. Do you guys have any good suggestions on where I can get one? Thanks for your help! I'll be glad to get the new one so my car can run right for the first time since April!

From Shoebox's website...

Dal Slabaugh: 877-448-5451
lockitup@bright.net or lockitup@ohio.net
Dal is no longer with VanDevere Buick/Pontiac (9/1/2007), but will continue to serve the automotive enthusiast with parts.

or

Jason Cromer: 877-726-8295
(or 850-243-8826 - direct parts dept ph # - not toll free)
Sam Taylor Buick/Cadillac, Ft. Walton Beach, FL

Or your local gm dealer...

And of course, I've had good luck finding cheap parts at salvage yards...
