Question throttle size & headers

Hello everyone need help in choosing a decent set-up here with my mod's. my z is a 93 lt-1: which contains so far hypertech chip, pressure reg., perf. heads, 1.6rr, 8.5wires , msd box, mac pulley, 3" flowmasters ex., lt-4 hot cam, 160 therm. IM confused in picking the headers there are to many to choose from. longs, mids., shorties. I live in orlando, fl. so there is no emissions here yet. as for throttle 52 or 58mm and whichever i choose do i need to port the intake manifold to fit picked size, and what about the chip or computer do i need to reprogram. Or get a new chip itself. your input would be appreciated guys.

I personally like long-tube headers - they give the best gains

for the throttle body - since you have heads and cam - you can go 58MM if you want - but the 52MM would do fine also. With the 58MM - you will need to hog out the holes in the front of the intake manifold to fit it. With the 52MM - there is no need to do this

as for the computer - you should have already had tuning work done with the mods you have already. so you will definitely need to get that done

Since your car is a 93, you have a chip in your PCM. A mail-order tuner can set you up with a good tune for an affordable price.
