Throttle Cable Question

Okay, I am moving the engine from my '95 into my '96. As I was removing the cables from the '95 I made note where the 2 cables connected.

However, the '96 appears to have a different set up with only one cable going to the TB, but 2 cables from the firewall like the '95. But they both go into what appears to be the cruise control.

Will there be a problem with my TB only getting one cable to it?

Is the item you're calling "speed control" mounted over the driver's side valve cover? If so, that is your ASR servo (traction control). You should also have an ASR switch on the dash. Check-ouy my engine photo on the Cardomain link, I have the ASR servo.

Yes, the one cable will work. If you need assistance adjusting the ASR throttle linkage, PM me.

I'm guessing that is where it would be mounted. I bought the car with no engine. There is no box around it like yours though. I guess I'll have to find one somewhere. Thanks for the reply and the link! I also got the High Miler hoses and now I know what they will look like when I put them on!
