Hey guys,

I was just curious what could go wrong with a throttle body. It seems like a pretty simple device. A buddy told me to check it out and make sure it's working properly. It basically controls the air intake, right? Doesn't seem like much could go wrong with it aside from the accelerator cable breaking. Just curious.

 

could be the throttle position sensor, bolted to the side of it..tells the computer the throttle position so the computer can inject fuel accordingly..just a thought...Chuck
