Throttle Body Porting?

Is this very difficult to do on your own? Can it even be done on your own. I have seen several stock throttle bodies for sale that are really cheap so I have thought about getting one and trying to port it a little bit. Are there any write ups on this? Any help would be great.

Well i am giving you a ttt because I would also like to know this. When I did my engine I took my throttle body apart and ended up having to get another one.

You'll need to make, or find a source for, larger diameter blades. At least if your idea opf "porting" means opening up the throttle bores to 52mm to match the intake manifold bores.

After some looking on ebay, I found you can get reman ones that are completely rebuilt and bored professionaly and powder coated in your choice of red, black or chroe for like 200. I think that it's worth it. They look really nice. Do a search on ebay.
