Those using Comp R lifters inside please

When these lifters are set up correctly do they make more noise than other lifters. I set mine to 1/8 turn and it sounded like marbles in the dryer. Is this normal?

1/8 turn might be too much, try 0- 1/16 turn, but yes, some noise has been reported

Mine were silent and to this day are still silent (friends with new owner). I set mine up 3/8 turn.

I set mine just an RCH past zero lash and no noise from them, just a little noise from the NSA rocker set up.

Once I put in the Comp RRs, the R lifters and the LT4 ED timing set, there
was so much going on I could not say. Definately sounds like a sewing
machine. Lots of sounds to keep things interesting and create false knock.
It's probably equally split among the RRs and the timing set, I doubt that
the lifters are contributing to my under-hood garment factory. Oh yeah, mine
are set at 1/8 turn cold w/ 7/16 studs.
