For those with Random Tech cat back

I recently purchased Random Tech cat back for my 95 camaro. I have Mac headers with off-road pipe and I have to say that the sound of this cat back after 4k rmp's is just horrible. It screams, and I mean screams. It sounds like you have backfire all the way; I can hear single detonations in the cylinders. My friends think that there is something wrong with my car, and they laugh at my face each time I rev over 4krmps. Is that normal or maybe my exhaust is ****ed up
Thanks

Thats just the way it sounds. I like it that way too. You should heard how loud my car screams at 6800rpm with no cats and Hooker LTs. Its like the Loudmouth or Borla with no plate. Its one of the least restrictive cat-backs out there but the design of the muffler makes it raspy and the lack of back pressure makes it pop alot.

That's what I was thinking. I had a Flowmaster series 80 before (+cat) and it sounded much deeper that Random tech, that swhy I am asking is there is something wrong with my car... When I was purchasing this cat back I know that it sound strange (but it gives the most HP from all cat backs) thats why I bought it. Okay so when I am sure that is should sounds like this, I know that I dont have any problems...Its time to used to the "strange sound"

Thanks
