Those with Quicktime electric Cutout?

Is there an adjustment to adjust how tight the butterfly closes. Mine leaks just a little. When I push the switch to close it, it closes all the way, but then I let off the switch and it cracks open just a tad. It's like the motor doesn't have enough power to hold it all the way closed, unless I'm pushing on the switch. It's free of carbon and everything. Just wondering if there's an adjustment to put more pressure on it, or if I should make a small gasket or something. It's not really noticeable when driving.

what usually happend is the switch was held for to long at one time or another. this will bend the butterfly and cause the problem you are having

My butterfly isn't bent. I had it off and it's flat. It closes it all the way, but you can take your finger and push on it and it opens up slightly, like there's play in the motor. When you let off the switch, I imagine the exhaust pushes the blade open just slightly.
I was just wondering if there's anything to do to eliminated that 1/16" of play in the motor when it's closed?

Yeap, mine does the same DAMN thing. They are a piece of ****! I emailed them because when I ordered mine the guy told me that if I had "ANY" problems let him know and he would help me out. So I emailed him and told him about the problem and he told me that, that is the way they are designed. Hmmm then why didn't it do that when I first installed it? From what I've heard there are a couple of different brands out there that are better quality.

Mine did the same thing too, but I called Quicktime Performance and the guy said that you have to tap the switch until it closes all the way. (Takes a little practice) If you keep holding it down after it has closed it is still trying to force the butterfly closed and when you release the switch it bounces back a bit because all the power has to go somewhere.

I had two 3" cut-outs welded into my Y-pipe just after the headers, and topped them off with a pair of Quicktime 3" Valves. I had absolutely no problems. It goes from whisper quiet to roaring loud in a matter of seconds.
