Those with 3" duals....

The tranny crossmember gets in the way so I was wondering if it was safe to shave it or if anyone has done that. Otherwise Ill just beat in the pipe, Ide just rather shave the crossmember to accept the exhaust as long as someone else has done it with nothing but good results.

I grinded mine, no problems so far, and I can't see it causing any in the future.

I just took my crossmember off...If its the one Im thinkin' of, its been off for little over a year now. no problems.

I think he is talking about the transmission crossmember, not the metal piece that ties the two sides together.
