My third brake light went out and I can't figure out what the problem is. First I bought new bulbs and when I was replacing them I noticed that there was some black burns where the bulb inserts.. Is there a fuse for this or is it ran off my reg brake lights? because they are fine its just the one in the spoiler.97 Z/28

power comes from the brake light switch just like the other brake lights. Power to the switch comes from the stop hazaerd fuse. see if you are getting power at the light blue wires to the light with the brake pressed. then see if you are getting ground on the black wire at all times. if both are ok you have some bad sockets or pigtails
