Thinner Head Gasket?
Hello i am wnting to raise my compression a little bit buy getting a thinner head gasket. does anyone know where ic an get on? maybe earlier/later model Lt1/4 have a thinner one? thank you

Assuming you have an LT1 Fbody, you can just go to the dealer and pick up a set of gaskets for the Impala LT1. There thinner then the Fbody gaskets and will bump up your compression. Maybe a quarter of a point or so. I believe some guys on here have found another gasket besides the Impala set thats thinner then the stock Fbody also. Do a search. I'm sure you'll find posts on it.
