Thinking about some exhaust work, but I need advice on this one.
Heading out of town at the end of the month to a place where labour charges are reasonable. While I'm away I was thinking of getting a 3 inch exhaust put on the car from the cat-back and have my cut out installed on my new I pipe....then have a Hooker muffler to throw on as well.
Is this worth doing or should I just stay with my stock exhaust with the existing cut out I have on there. I really like the sound of the hooker muffler, not always too keen on the cut out open all the time.
Is there any gains other than sound worth making this idea more interesting and justifiable to spend money on?
thanks guys,
lbrowne

When running with the cut-out closed and a larger exhaust you should see a bit of a gain and better sound over the same scenario and stock exhaust. If that sounds worth your while and $$, I say get it.
