Thinking about a 396 Motor ?????'s

I would like to get a 396 stroker motor. Currently i have a powerdyne SC and i plan on keeping it (possibly changing pullies). Where should i go for parts/shortblock whatever? What are your opions on the best parts for the job. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Be patient

Just keep checking the "parts for Sale" section. Some of these guys on here spend 10K building 396 motors, then turn around and sell them for 5K. It happens all the time.

Nu-tek baby

http://www.nu-tekmotorsports.com these guys are the best and most affordable. this should give you an idea of what you expect to pay.

ALSO keep in mind upgrades to the fuel pump, injectors, ignitions, heads, cam, headers other bolt ons are almost a mandetory issue, also cooling too!

So keep in mind you also have extra cost to add in too.
